Blaine track teams finish sixth at NWC tourney
Both the girls and boys Borderite track and field teams showed marked improvement at the Northwest Conference Championships at a sunny Civic Field, Friday, April 22.

One of the great maladies of the Borderite softball team has been an avalanche of errors that are inherent in a young team. The Blaine girls buckled down in their game with Sehome at Geri Fields, Wednesday, April 20, but there was the simple matter of controlling Sehome’s hitters.

Borderites rally twice on Freeman final at bats
Blaine head baseball coach Gary Clausen has witnessed a stomach-churning number of one-run games for his Borderites this season, many of which had gone the wrong way for his team.
