Borderites take third at NWC Championships

Fresh off the heels of a 60-12 victory over Nooksack Valley on January 18, the Borderites headed to Bellingham to participate in the annual Northwest Conference Championships at Sehome High School on Saturday, January 11.

Girls’ basketball team maintains NWC dominance

The Blaine girls’ basketball team continued their winning ways on January 12, defeating Anacortes 54-42 to improve their Northwest Conference (NWC) record to 5-1, 10-3 overall. For those paying attention, that is a mirror image of the boys’ less-fortunate standing.

Boys come up short against Anacortes

Blaine boys’ basketball lost a close one to Anacortes on January 13, falling 65-60 in a matchup that remained tied until the final minute.
