Blaine athletes continued to reap honors for spring sports this week.

Dave Charbonneau calmly lashed a luscious tee shot that slightly hooked into the center of the first fairway in a soaking rain at Semiahmoo Golf and Country Club.

The Borderites completed the 2010 spring football workouts with a 28-21 scrimmage win over visiting New Westminster on June 12.

Blaine head football coach, Jay Dodd is optimistic about the Borderites’ chances next season.

On more than one occasion this season, Skagit Valley College coaches and players were seen at Borderite softball games, scouting the senior heavy team that just finished their second consecutive trip to the 2A state tournament.
