Basketball teams take on Squalicum in first conference game

The Blaine High School girls varsity basketball improved its overall record to 3–3 by winning the first game that really counts on December 10. The Borderites beat Squalicum 56–37 in the first conference game of the season. Squalicum’s record is 1–4.

Next, the Blaine girls take on Lynden Christian (4–0) at 5:40 p.m. on Friday, December 14, at Blaine High School.

The boys varsity team lost its game, also the conference opener, against Squalicum 56–47. After the loss, Blaine’s record is

3–3 overall.

Next, the boys host Lynden Christian (4–0) at 7:15 on Friday, December 14.
