Bite of Blaine raises funds for July 4 festivities

The 19th annual Bite of Blaine took place on Monday, February 18 at Semiahmoo Resort.

Sponsored by the Blaine Chamber of Commerce, it featured food from local eateries as well as live and silent auctions to benefit Blaine’s Old Fashioned Fourth of July. Photos by The Northern Light staff.

Semiahmoo Resort provided samples of smoked fish and other dishes from their restaurants. Paso Del Norte served delicious Mexican food. Chuckanut Bay Foods served samples of their amazing cheesecake. Big Al’s Diner served butter chicken, samosas and Hawaiian chicken burgers. Bidding during the live auction with auctioneers Gary Tomsic and Mike Kent.
