Blaine Food Bank needs volunteers

The folks at the Blaine Food Bank are in need of a helping hand.

In an email, volunteers Joan Smith and Terry Aiello said the food bank is in need of able-bodied volunteers to work in the facility and make deliveries by car.

The Blaine Food Bank is located at 500 C Street. Its hours of operation are 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays; 3-7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays; 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Thursdays; 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Fridays; and 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
