Health screening coming to American Legion

Life Line Screening will hold health screenings at American Legion Peace Arch Post 86 on December 20.

Blaine and Birch Bay area residents can learn about their risks for cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, diabetes and other serious health conditions. The screening checks include artery plaque buildup, HDL and LDL cholesterol levels and kidney and thyroid function.

Preregistration is required, and special package pricing starts at $159.
