Boys basketball
Blaine boys varsity basketball lost to Lakewood 68–42 on January 29. The week before, they lost to Lynden Christian 71–43. The losses give Blaine a 2–16 overall record. Adam Vega led the Borderites in scoring in both games with 12 points against Lynden and 16 against Lakewood. The Borderites play next at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, away against Sedro-Woolley (11–6 overall).
