Locals take the plunge in Birch Bay

The Birch Bay Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual Polar Bear Plunge at Birch Bay Beach Park on January 1. In addition to taking the plunge, participants also took part in a costume contest, which included categories, such as ‘Best Dressed,’ ‘Most Creative Under Age 12,’ ‘Most Creative Team’ and ‘Best Dressed Pet.’
