Summer Fun in the Park is back

Summer Fun in the Park returns Saturday, August 27 for live music, an outdoor movie showing and other family entertainment.

The evening event will run 5-10 p.m. at Blaine Marine Park’s playground, 272 Marine Drive. There will be something for everyone with live music from the two bands Kickerville and Gladstone, as well as a beer garden serving $5 beer, wine and seltzer. Food vendors include Paso del Norte, Cicchitti’s East Coast Pizza, Sugar Shack Ice Cream and The Better Buttermint Co. A free showing of the movie Ant-Man will start at dusk, around 8:45 p.m.

All proceeds go to the Blaine Chamber of Commerce.
