Zumbathon fundraiser for Ukraine on March 19

A Zumbathon event will raise funds for Ukraine this Saturday at the Birch Bay Activity Center.

Seven Zumba instructors will host a 90-minute Zumbathon at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 19 at the Birch Bay Activity Center, 7511 Gemini Street. All proceeds will go to Save the Children’s Ukraine emergency relief fund. Tickets cost $10.

The event will also have a silent auction from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. with items and gift certificates from local businesses such as Beach Cat Brewing and Drayton Harbor Oyster Company. Nature’s Path is matching donations up to $5,000.
