The Birch Bay Watershed and Aquatic Resource Management (BBWARM) Advisory Committee has announced a shift in its regular meeting time and will hold a four-hour work session in its place.

The advisory committee will hold the work session from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, at the Semiahmoo Cannery Day Lodge. The work session will involve broad discussions on the purpose of BBWARM and is open to the public, but will include no open session at which members of the public can speak.

Due to the work session, the advisory committee’s regular meeting has been shifted to 6 p.m. on March 28 at the Semiahmoo fire station. The committee’s regular meetings are typically held on the third Wednesday of the month and will return to this schedule in April.

The Semiahmoo Cannery Day Lodge is located at 9261 Semiahmoo Parkway in Blaine, near Semiahmoo Park on the spit. A maintenance project at the Semiahmoo fire station, the advisory committee’s regular meeting place, necessitated the shift in venues.
