Whatcom County residents will get the chance to meet Port of Bellingham commissioners face-to-face during “Coffee with a Commissioner” events starting Wednesday, July 18, with a July 26 event scheduled for Birch Bay.

County residents are invited to drop by three events on July 18, July 20 and 26, each running from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., for free cups of coffee and pastries. Commissioners will discuss the port’s plans for 2012 and garner input from the public on what else the port should be doing.
