The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Blaine resident Stephen Earl Sivo, and deputies are hoping the public can help.

Sivo, 32, is wanted on a number of criminal charges including assault, reckless endangerment and harassment stemming from ongoing domestic violence incidents against his 22-year-old girlfriend. He is also wanted by the state for violating terms of his release. He has been booked into the Whatcom County Jail 16 times.

“Sivo continues to demonstrate a pattern of reckless disregard for human life,” said Sheriff Bill Elfo in a press release, “and represents a threat to the community.”

Anyone with information on Sivo’s whereabouts should call 911 immediately, Elfo said, adding that Sivo is considered dangerous and the public should not attempt to contact him.

Sivo is 5-foot 9-inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has hazel eyes and brown hair, and may be driving a stolen silver Subaru Legacy with Washington license plates AEZ9685.
