The Blaine City Council and staff is inviting the public to attend a volunteer recognition reception on Monday March 17 at the Blaine Senior / Community Center, 763 G Street.

The reception begins at 4 p.m. and includes a ceremony to recognize citizens and community members who have served as volunteers this past year on the Planning Commission, the Park and Cemetery Board, the Civil Service Commission, the Blaine Tourism Advisory Committee, the Auxiliary Communications Service, the Visitor Information Center, and Friends of Marine Park.

The city council and staff recognize the contribution and commitment volunteers make to enhance and improve the city of Blaine. Volunteers spend many hours serving the city and bring experience, expertise, knowledge, and willingness to take on difficult tasks as a service to fellow citizens and the City as a whole.

The council and staff appreciate its volunteers and invite the community to share in their recognition by attending the reception and the recognition ceremony.
