Unstable soil beneath a Marine Drive manhole could cost the city of Blaine approximately $105,000 in extra construction costs as part of a larger wastewater conveyance project.

UPDATE: County hearing examiner approves BP Heron Center permits

The Whatcom County Hearing Examiner has issued his approval of two permits necessary for the proposed BP Heron Center at Birch Bay State Park to be built.
