Bellingham-based RE Sources files notice to sue SSA Marine

The Bellingham-based environmental group that has been one of the strongest voices of opposition against the Gateway Pacific Terminal has filed a 60-day notice of intent to sue the Seattle-based shipping terminal company proposing the project.

Birch Bay beaches receive A grades for summer 2011

All the beaches in Birch Bay tested over the summer received an "A" grade or better in a beach report card released by a California-based environmental group.
