Birch Bay’s 2022 Rollback Weekend and Sand Sculpture Contest

Birch Bay’s annual Rollback Weekend and Sand Sculpture Contest drew crowds July 30 and July 31. Festival-goers enjoyed the sand sculpture contest, car show, vendors outside of the Birch Bay library property, family-friendly games and live music, among other activities. 

Team Sand Witches’ “Save the Whales & Lummi Island” won first in the sand castle competition, while team Sandbox Rejects’ “Peanut M & M on Railroad Tracks” received second and team Gogal Family’s “Top Gun” received third place.
