Ballots for the November general election are due by 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 5.

The Whatcom County Auditor’s Office asks voters who haven’t received their ballots to immediately call its election division at 360/778-5102. People who want to register to vote or update their voter registration have until 8 p.m. on Election Day to visit the Whatcom County Auditor’s Office, housed in the Whatcom County Courthouse at 311 Grand Avenue in Bellingham.

Ballots must be postmarked by November 5 and the auditor’s office encourages voters to return ballots by drop box during the week of the election. Ballots can be dropped off in the International Marketplace, located at 480 Tyee Drive in Point Roberts.

The auditor’s office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays to assist voters, with additional hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, November 2 and from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Election Day. Voters can see their ballot status at votewa.gov.
