Election season is in full swing as candidates and voters alike prepare for November 4 general election ballots to be mailed on Wednesday, October 15. With the election countdown ticking away, organizations around the county are holding forums to hear from candidates on their most pressing issues, including the League of Women Voters (LWV) of Bellingham-Whatcom County.
The League of Women Voters recently published recordings of interviews with general election candidates on its website. The interviews include Blaine City Council, Blaine school board, Port of Bellingham and Whatcom County Council candidates.
The LWV is a national, nonpartisan organization focused on improving government participation across the public, regardless of gender.
