Austin “Bill” Clark
January 24, 1955 — April 26, 2025
Austin “Bill” Clark, born January 24, 1955, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025, in the comfort of his home in Birch Bay, WA.
Bill lived a full and adventurous life rooted in the Pacific Northwest. An avid skier, he spent two decades working at Mt. Baker Ski Area, where he not only shared his passion for the mountains but also built a strong community of friends that became family. When he wasn’t on the slopes, you could find him out on the water, salmon fishing from his beloved boat, the Pursuit — enjoying the beauty of the San Juan Islands and Salish Sea.
A loyal sports fan, Bill faithfully cheered on the Mariners, Seahawks and Huskies, no matter the season or score. But his greatest pride and joy came from being a dad and grandpa. He was a loving father to Austin, Ryan, and Kelsea, and a proud grandfather to Luka, Huxley, and Kade. His strength, humor, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bill’s life will be celebrated privately by his family. In his honor, consider hitting the slopes, casting a line, or watching a game with someone you love — just the way Bill would have wanted. Bill is survived by his children, grandchildren, and siblings Tori and Reid.
