Over 39,000 ballots cast ahead of November 8

November 2022 election ballots need to be turned in by 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 8. As of November 1, the Whatcom County Auditor’s Office has received 39,006 ballots. North Whatcom County ballot drop box locations include Blaine Library, North Whatcom Fire and Rescue and Custer Elementary School. Citizens can complete or update voter registration at the Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue in Bellingham. Stamps are not required to return ballots by mail and ballots must be postmarked no later than November 8. Voters who return ballots by mail on Election Day need to check the last collection time on the mailbox. Voters can check if the auditor’s office has received their ballot by visiting votewa.gov.
