The Point Roberts Community Advisory Committee (PRCAC) will host a townhall meeting February 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the Gulf Road community center to discuss the economic development strategy study that is sponsored by the Port of Bellingham.
Representatives from the consulting firm Maul Foster and Alongi and Port of Bellingham will present findings from community interviews and conditions review. The study is in its early stages, giving residents an opportunity to influence its direction.
The evening begins with networking at 6:30 p.m., allowing community members to meet the project team. After the 7 p.m. start, the agenda includes project introductions, market assessment findings, and interview results. At 7:55 p.m., attendees will participate in exercises to prioritize opportunities through dot exercises, sticky notes, and open discussion.
