Above, the moon began a full lunar eclipse at 11:45 p.m. on March 14 in the skies above Point Roberts. Also visible that night were Mars, Saturn and in the early morning, a rising Venus. The next total lunar eclipse that will be visible will take place the night of March 3, 2026 followed by one on December 31, 2028. Happy New Year!
