Authorities requesting help in two missing person cases

The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office has renewed a request for information regarding Jason Lovelady who went missing on October 5, 2013 near Baker Lake on Forest Service Road 12.

Lovelady lived in Skagit County and was last seen picking pine cones with family.

Despite authorities conducted a widespread search at the time, Lovelady was never found. While no recent tips have been received, the investigation remains open.

Bradley Hale

More than a month has passed since Bellingham resident Bradley Hale was reported missing after leaving his home in a panic.

Hale, 35, left his home on October 1 and called his wife on his cell phone the next day to tell her he was lost in the woods. His car was found north of Lake Samish and phone records show he had been near the Plantation Rifle Range on Samish Highway.

Whatcom County Search and Rescue, as well as friends and family, have subsequently conducted multiple searches and are continuing to seek assistance from the public.

Hale is 6 feet tall with a slim build, has short brown hair and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a Carhartt jacket, blue jeans, and black and white

sneakers.

A “Missing Brad Hale” Facebook page has also been setup to provide updates and raise awareness. All tips should be directed to 360/778-8664. Urgent developments should be directed to emergency personnel by

calling 911.
