Whatcom County: Ticket sales for the Whatcom Museum’s Art Auction have been extended through January 16. The auction will take place Friday, January 23 at 6 p.m., at the Whatcom Museum’s Lightcatcher Building in Bellingham.

Washington: The state legislature opened for its first session of 2015 on January 12. The legislature will evaluate raising taxes, cutting carbon monoxide pollution and managing class sizes in our public schools.
