Birch Bay Habitat for Humanity project moves forward

“This project is really coming along nicely,” said Habitat for Humanity in Whatcom County publicist Holly Harkener. January 7 marked the first build day for volunteers eager to construct a home at Leeside Drive in Birch Bay. Harkener said five wall sections have been constructed and the framing is complete.
