For the second year running, Blaine Primary School (BPS) students are showcasing their artwork at businesses around Blaine, turning the town into an art walk for all to enjoy.
Organized and founded by longtime BPS teacher Terre Shapiro, this year’s art walk will feature original paintings and drawings from each class – ranging from pre-K to second grade – in a different storefront window around town.
The art walk will run through the entire month of May.
“This special event invites you to stroll through town and immerse yourself in the creativity and imagination of our young artists,” Shapiro wrote in a statement. “Don’t miss this chance to celebrate the hard work and expression of our students.”
Participating businesses include Aloha Café, Bella Boutique, Blaine Art Gallery, Blaine Chiropractic, Border Town Pizza, Borderview Dental, Chada Thai, Day to Day Dance, Edaleen Dairy, Freeman Real Estate, Hill’s Chevron, Jen & Leah Real Estate, L&L Bakery, New Edge Hair Design, Paso Del Norte, Umpqua Bank, USTA Martial Arts and Westside Pizza.
