Blessing of the Fleet’s 40th ceremony honors lost fishers

The Fisherman’s Memorial Committee, with support from community partners, held the 40th annual Blessing of the Fleet ceremony at Blaine Harbor on May 5. The ceremony remembered fishers who have died at sea over the years with a bell ringing and placing of flowers on a wreath.
