A brush fire bordered the northeast corner of Blaine and Birch Bay-Lynden roads last Monday, September 12. A few local residents were forced to evacuate their homes while responders from North Whatcom Fire and Rescue (NWFR) attended to the fire. Traffic was delayed as a result of the fire.
