Local veterinary hospital hires two practitioners

Kulshan Veterinary Hospital recently announced the addition of two doctors to its Lynden-based practice.

Dr. Jake Murphy hails from Yountville, California and specializes in cattle and small ruminant medicine. He earned a Bachelor of Science in animal science and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis.

Dr. Mandy Cha is from southern California, and has traveled throughout the world, including Singapore, China, New Zealand and Mississippi. She received her degree in New Zealand and participated in a yearlong internship specializing in equine medicine and surgery at Mississippi State University. Cha specializes in

lameness and imaging.

Kulshan Veterinary Hospital is an accredited American Animal Hospital Association institution. The facility provides mixed animal care and provides services to locations throughout Whatcom County.
