Locals take part Seattle fundraising event

Heidi Holmes, program manager with Blaine - Birch Bay Park and Recreation District 2, l.,  and Birch Bay resident Noelle Jorgensen, r., held a fundraising event leading up to Base2Space on September 18. Base2Space is a charity event that requires participants to climb the Space Needle and takes place on Sunday, October 2. Proceeds are donated to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
