M.D. Spa & Wellness Center has moved from its former location on Birch Bay Drive to Birch Bay Square at exit 270 off I-5.
CEO Marika Dawe said she was excited for the new location as it makes it easier for north Whatcom County clients to access their services.
In addition to the Birch Bay Square location, the wellness center recently opened a new 3,500-square-foot medical spa and training facility in Burlington. According to Dawe, it is the only medical aesthetics training program in Whatcom and Skagit counties. Two medical doctors oversee the school and wellness centers to help both students and clients receive quality professional experience and care. Estheticians are licensed and several are registered nurses.
Dawe described her company’s approach to beauty and wellness as holistic, with treatments designed to enhance “natural beauty while promoting overall health.” Services include Botox, Juvéderm, microneedling, medical-grade facials, vitamin injections, laser treatments, medical weight loss management and hormone replacement therapy.
The Birch Bay Square location is open Monday through Saturday by appointment. For more information, visit md-wellness.com or call 360/920-3310.
