The Blaine-Birch Bay Park and Recreation District 2 kicked off summer with Splash Day at 3rd and Martin streets in downtown Blaine on Friday, June 21. Children played in sprinklers and held competitive water gun fights as a way to cool off from the 70 degree weather.
