Blaine Public Library is finishing the last touches on a renovation that partially closed the library at 613 3rd St. from late April through early May. Whatcom County Library System’s levy lid lift that voters passed last August funded the $65,000 construction project to improve Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility and ergonomics at the circulation desk. New carpet and cabinetry was also installed.
