Bell Road railway closure

The railway crossing near Bell Road is expected to close 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 12 and reopen 3 p.m. Thursday, July 14 as Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway crews work on a full rehabilitation project. The road will be closed between Runge Avenue and Peace Portal Drive for crossing repairs that were scheduled for last November but delayed because of the historic flooding. Drivers should expect slowdowns and plan for alternative routes. Detour signs will be in place and flaggers will direct traffic during working hours. For more information, call NW Safety Signs at 360/676-6272.
