Whatcom Hospice will provide support to Blaine area residents experiencing grief with a six-week series called “A Journey to Hope and Healing.” The series will run 1-2:30 p.m. every Thursday from January 23 to February 27 at Blaine United Church of Christ, 815 4th Street.
Whatcom Hospice bereavement caregivers will co-lead a group of 10 people, providing them with education and support on grief. Pre-registration is required as the group is limited to 10 people.
The six meetings will cover the physical, social, emotional and spiritual parts of grief, according to Whatcom Hospice.
Whatcom Hospice began offering the series in 2023 after seeing a need for north Whatcom County residents to receive support who may not want to travel to Bellingham or participate in Whatcom Hospice’s remote series.
