William (Bill) Lawrence Hanson, 77, passed away peacefully in his home in Bellevue, WA on January 25, 2018. Bill was born on June 4, 1940 in Bellingham, WA. Bill lived in Blaine until 1957 where his father co-owned Ted and Bill’s Shell Service Station, and Bill was a star basketball player at Blaine High School.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, William F. Hanson (1985) and Ruth Hanson (2003). Bill is survived by: sister Maxine (Robert) Box; sister Linda Marks; daughter Amy Hanson Halquist, daughter Abby (Martin) Smith, twin daughters Deitrie and Katlin Hanson; 3 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
